He both worked in retail and shopping center investment & development fields, mostiy with foreign institutions during his experience of 20 years. He is an expert in shopping center asset management as well as mall management. He has also led stressed property management teams in different locations. Prior to Mallexpert, he has been responsible for acquisition, development, leasing and mall management of Corio Turkey's portfolio of 280.000 m2 and 1 billion USD in worth. Among the previous experiences of Özgül, are real estate structured senior loans, retail expansion, consultancy and stressed mall restructuring.
Özgül has an MBA degree from UVIC Business School, Canada, Certificates from Harvard and University of Chicago as well as CSM and CMD from ICSC.
